Regarding Isekai Maou

Hey there,

Regarding the latest ‘snipe’ on Isekai Maou, I’ve spoken with the releasers and actually asked them to continue releasing the chapters they’ve already completed (the next 2 parts that is) as I don’t want their effort to go to waste. I know just how rough that could be. Thankfully, they’ve agreed to drop the series after those parts thus allowing us to continue it. Please don’t cause any further trouble for them or us on the matter. Thanks.

Moving on.
Isekai Maou is done with Isekai Soul-Cyborg Translations, and we’re the guest of this joint project. As we reached out to them who were initially soloing it, it would 100% be wrong of us (PT) to dissolve the joint project and solo it – even if we’d be faster (since it’s incredibly easy to do) and may be for the better of the series. We’ve spoken with Cyborg about the possibility of PT soloing before. In response to that, Cyborg assured us that he still loves the series and would actively send us translations… As you already know, those translations comes in batches once every few months. Hopefully you understand our perspective on the joint project situation.

As Cyborg gains a ton of motivation to translate when sniping occurs, we’ll more than likely receive up to the latest raw chapter over the next week. We’ve already got all the cleans and redraws done, so those chapters will be out shortly following the arrival of translations. Once again, apologies for the delay on Isekai Maou despite it being out of our control.

With all that being said, we might be soloing the series in the future. If any translators are interested in the series, please DM Tallguy#6529 (our head-translator) on Discord.

Thank you.

Sorry for my awful English. I was woken up by a barrage of notifications not too long ago.

As of December 17th, the manga’s serialization has officially been dropped/discontinued/terminated by the publisher. In early 2018, the author’s health declined which caused the serialization to go on hiatus until further notice. Unfortunately, his health continued to fluctuate throughout the year and in 2019, his back pain made it extremely difficult to sit for extended periods of time. This probably put the nail in the coffin for the series.

Fortunately the novel continues and is released frequently. You can read it: here
If the series ever gets serialized again we’ll pick it up as soon as we’re aware of it. It was our first ever project and a series we never wished to let go of.

Throughout the year we’re going to be starting more projects…

TL;DR: Start > Lose Interest > Drop. To accommodate 20 – 30+ staff, we’ll be seeing what we can commit to.

We’re Back!

We’ve now officially renamed to “Project Time”.

This was announced a few months ago, so hopefully it doesn’t come as much of a surprise. To reiterate, this change was long overdue and yes, we’re continuing the manga we were previously doing.

With regard to releases, although we’re hoping to change this in the future, things will continue as they have been up till now – chapters will be released upon completion with no delay.

Following the notion of moving forward, we’re not entirely sure on which direction we wish to pursue… We’ve always held both quality and speed equally, but as translating and editing all SFX has been widely requested of us lately, we are considering it – although it’ll result in slower releases.
Ultimately the decision of doing SFX or not will come down to which we enjoy doing more. Until we decide you will see some chapters with SFX done from us, while others not.

We wished for a new site to accompany the change, but unfortunately that’ll have to come at a later date. We’ll keep the constructive criticism you’ve given us in the #reader-improvements chat on our Discord server in-mind while developing. If any developers would be interested in helping out, please apply!

This about wraps it up.
We will keep you updated on progression and decisions in future updates.

We are looking for more staff, so please consider joining us if you can!

Thank you for your understanding and moving forward with us!

Best regards,
Project Time.
